Review content:
Well, I would have given this place five stars until a few days ago. My husband and I were married here on June 26, 2010. Everything was great, that staff was helpful, the cake was good....we had no complaints.\r Jump ahead to about the beginning of September (I think it was around Sept 10). At this point, it had been more than 8 weeks, and I am wondering where my pictures are. I call the chapel, and am told that their computer hard drive crashed (hmm seems like a common excuse they use after reading some of these other reviews), and that they had sent it in for recovery. I was told that I needed to wait just a few more weeks, and that they would call us to confirm our address before shipping them out. \r So, I expected a call around the end of September. Nothing. Instead, on Oct 18 I open my mail to find a letter from them saying ""Sorry, we lost your pictures, we cannot recover them"" along with a check for the $450 we paid for the picture package. They didn't even have the decency to call. So, after waiting close to four months for my pictures, now I don't even have them, and they coudln't even be bothered to pick up the phone and apologize for losing my irreplacable pictures. It's nice that they refunded my money, but it would have been nicer to get a little more than the $450 for one, making us wait so long, two, losing my damn pictures that cannot be replaced, and three not even having the common courtesy to CALL me but send me a cowardly letter instead. I half expect the check to bounce.\r So, if you want a nice wedding with ZERO pictures, by all means, get married at Lakefront.
