Review content:
I bought an item from this ""store"" online and was told that the garment was in ""brand new condition"". Here's what ""brand new condition"" means to My Girlfriend's Closet - there was a hole in the side-seam, the garment had been previously worn and there was a large black ink stain on the silk lining. The best part is this - I had taken the garment to a well known dept. store to be fitted (which is where the ink-mark was discovered by the alterations lady) because the dress didn't fit - despite the fact that I own over 10 pcs from this designer, for the first time EVER the item in my size did not fit - it was ENORMOUS. The alterations gal became skeptical after seeing the ink mark and looked at the label which was sewn erratically onto the garment in different thread than the rest so she asked for assistance from the Manager who brought in the Vendor Rep who happened to be there merchandizing the sales floor! She took one look at the garment and then the tag and said, ""Honey, this is a fake!"" A FAKE! THEN, when I contacted My Girlfriends Closet, they ignored my inquiry. A month later, I filed a dispute through the selling party as I did not buy directly through the store - a dispute was opened and My Girlfriends Closet proceeded to slander me, called me ""insane"" and a liar. I responded to My Girlfriends Closet and the insults got worse the 2nd time around. I simply resolved to close my dispute and chalk up the loss as it wasn't worth pursuing at that point. I've NEVER experienced WORST customer service in my ENTIRE life or career. I work in customer service and was a Manager in the fashion industry for 11 years. But, I would have fired my employee so fast if I ever heard them speaking to a customer the way My Girlfriends Closet spoke to me. They obviously don't care about their customers - I would think they would have more consideration, grace and tact. I would highly dissuade doing business with them - unless you condone this behavior. Horrifying.
Pros: THERE ARE NONE!
Cons: Worst customer service ever experienced - EVER, false advertising, sells unauthentic items, does not maintain tact when trying to resolve customer problems - MGFC is always right NOT the customer
