Review content:
I've gone here for years and never had an issue, despite warnings that fights were prone to break out at the Twilight Room. I just shrugged them off because I had never witnessed it myself and I'm of the belief that seeing is believing. Well, after what I witnessed on Saturday night, I will not be back for my own safety.\r \r First off, my condolences go out to the staff and owners of Twilight, there was a loss in their family recently. We were unaware of this tragedy and had we known, we would have avoided the place.\r \r Come to find out a large group of people were in the back drinking FAR too much (and probably being overserved given that they knew the owners and they were all grieving the same person). I would think the bar would have closed itself on Saturday (the day of the funeral, I heard) for a private gathering, and not subject the unsuspecting public to their high and unpredictable emotions (made all the worse by their high consumption rate). Or they should've at least had this group under supervision, but there was no staff outside in the back, which is where they were all night.\r \r I witnessed one of the guys in this group while he started screaming at a girl and threw something (a beer can?) at her while she tried to go back inside and get away from him. A male customer told the guy ""Hey, that's a girl! Don't do that to a girl!""\r \r Apparently this was enough to earn the guy a punch in the face and the poor guy and his friend got jumped. Instead of taking the guilty parties out (who flat out admitted LAUGHINGLY to the staff that it was their fault and said ""I was waiting all night to get a punch in somewhere!""), the staff escorted the victims out and left the friends of the owners and staff outside to drink more. They probably took them out later, but should have done so first and foremost. I didn't stay to find out.\r \r Lesson learned, the backyard patio has zero staff and anything can happen back there and it will take time to get someone outside to help you. Hopefully 20/20 is going to help the owners and managers realize that these people are a liablity in their grief and adding alcohol to the fire on a place they consider home turf is not a good idea. Hopefully, they were all ashamed of themselves once they sobered up. Pros: I once loved it. Cons: Agro meatheads looking for a fight.
