Review content:
I cam here with the intent of doing some karaoke. After waiting two hours without singing, we were not given the opportunity to sing. Meanwhile, the KJ was letting his friends sing multiple times. From what I understand, their KJs accept bribes from guests wishing to sing more often or sooner. I'm a karaoke veteran and have done karaoke at many place. Courtside is definitely the most unaccomadating place I've ever attended. For a place that considers themselves a karaoke bar, they don't have a high level of professionalism in that department. I wasn't about to slip the KJ a $20 so I could sing. The drinks were mediocre, and the non-karaoke section of the bar wasn't great. Rap music blared to the point where you had to shout your drink order to the bartender and if you're lucky -- they JUST might get it right. Pros: cheap drinks Cons: unfriendly staff, too loud, bad karaoke
