Businiess name:  Sawasdee Thai Restaurant

Review content:
I was visiting Raleigh and this place came highly recommended by a local. I ordered thai ice tea, fried spring rolls, and three-flavor grouper. The thai ice tea and spring rolls were OK - nothing special about them. Now the three flavor grouper - the fried fish was swimming in sweet chili sauce. It wasn't good. After several bites, I found a bug in my food. After showing my plate to them, I was told that it was possibly from the rice. But come on, really? Why would they suggest it, if they didn't know about it? And they still serve food in this place? They tried to offer me a different dish. But after seeing what they may possibly have living in their kitchen, I couldn't bear stomaching it. I then asked for my bill. Can you believe that the owner/manager was going to charge me for the entire bill? How would you feel if they asked you to pay for the bug-infested dish? The owner then realized that it wasn't right for her to do that so I only got charged for my drink and spring rolls. All I can say is that this place is not clean and the food is less than average. Did I mention that the price seemed a bit high? Don't eat there if you can avoid it. If you decide to disregard my opinion, pay attention to any bugs before taking another bite. It may be there in your food. Cons: Insect found in food
