John, Bill, Steve and the rest of the guys know their pool and pump supplies! Sure you can take in your water sample and get your free water test. They'll tell you how much chlorine, acid, etc to keep it sparkling. But the real value is these guys know their stuff! Need a part, they got it at a reasonable price. Need advice on how to fix something, they'll take the time to talk you through it. If you carry it in, they may fix it for you if they're not slammed with customers. I always take in photos on my digital camera which helps them diagnose the problem and give you the right parts. The amount of free advice I get from them makes the already reasonable prices that much more of a bargain. If you have a problem that's over your head, not to worry, they can set up a repair call for you. Don't let the funky store front deter you, this is a well organized, well run business. These guys may look like they are rockers from the 70's, but they are really pool repair rock stars. I have been a customer for ten years and I'll take them any day over the shiny shopping center pool stores with inexperienced staffs. Don't miss the free hot dogs and sodas during peak season. Fair prices, honest to a fault and good old fashioned customer service, what else could you want?
