I have only been here once. I chose it because of the reviews and the location. The ambiance is great: gaudy chandlers, big mirrors, cheesy Asian pop, typical Thai decor and a fish tank. The food was disappointing. We ordered a panang curry, a whole talapia and a galangal soup. The curry was fair (just fair), but tasted as much like massaman as panang. It was quite rich and heavy on the peanuts, but edible. The galangal soup was flat and unappetizing. Since this type of soup is so easy to make, a bad galangal soup makes me wonder if the restaurant cares at all about the quality of the food. Moreover, the fish was completely inedible. Our waiter was very nice but entirely untrained. He had no idea what drinks they served. It's totally possible we caught them on a bad night, but I will probably be reluctant to go back. The prices are a bit high, and I think it is too much of a gamble.
