I've never been a fan of Indian food before, and didn't want to give this place a chance for the longest time - BIG MISTAKE!
This is now one of my favorite restaurants -
The food is simply exquisite!
Two of my favorite dishes:
- the Malai Kofta (pay no attention to the fact that it's vegetarian fare - even my 100% carnivore husband adores it)
- the carrot pudding desert... I know it sounds strange, but who knew that carrots could produce such a delectable, sweet, scrumptious and savory dish? I would never have guessed that this healthy veggie is the main ingredient. To die for, especially when they heat it up and serve it with the creamy vanilla sauce!
Pros: food, cheap lunch menu, location
Cons: service a bit aloof
