Review content:
I will never go to the WP Tavern again and I have only been there once. They have put zero effort into atmosphere, music, no creativity whatsoever in menu drinks or drink specials. It seems that the only goal the staff has is giving patrons as much alcohol as possible. The screwdriver I ordered tasted like pure alcohol with a splash of slightly fermented orange added. The barstaff is apathetic-most likely tired of dealing with drunk customers to the point that even dignified patrons are treated with suspicion and disdain. In addition-as a homeowner in the area I am constantly hearing complaints from my neighbors about underage teens that have been served (and overserved) throwing up/peeing in their lawns.A few weeks ago a drunk driver that had been overserved there crashed into two parked cars on our street damaging property and endangering their own lives and others.Perhaps if you are just interested in getting drunk this will be an enjoyable spot for you however I recommend exploring some of the restaurants and bars on Ellsworth, highland or walnut street that have creativity-fantastic menus and unique atmospheres. Don
