We built our house five years ago and I was frustrated with Mobley then. While building, I was at home and my husband worked so I had to meet with the electrical, plumbing, alarm, etc. When the electrician came out my first words were I have had eye surgery and need lots of light. Well with that you would think light switches would go with that. Never assume anything with Mobley. I also ask for a outlet above the fireplace mantle to plug in Chrismas lights. The electrician told me no, I did not want that, he would put outlets on both sides in the built in bookshelves. I was intimidated and let him. I wanted the flood lights that came on with movement and again I was told that no, they would stay on all thet ime and just flood lights would be better. Again, intimidated. , I walk out of our masterbath and I can not turn off the bedroom lights, only one light switch at the door, so go across the room and flip the switch. My mom's house is 20 years old and even she has two switches. And that is just the beginning, There is a closet in the basement with no light so I had to buy a big spot light to shine in, if there is something stored I need. A closet, deep dark hole should automatically have a light. And then, There are two doors into the basement, one will have a light switch to turn on the basement lights and the other, just walk across the dark basement to the other door and turn them on or just do not use that door. Either way, you are mad and bump your leg on a tiller and then you are mad and bleeding. This is the nerve wrecking stupidity of Mobley. And they sent an electrician who was competent (???) and with the company for a long time. I can list more but it would take a much bigger space. My advice, hire another company, but if you must, then know what you want and do not be intimidated. If you regret something later, at least it will be something you wanted and not what the electrician wanted. And do not have them come out on a Friday. The weekend is more important than your home. I waited five years too late to complain, and that is on me. and I definitly take that responsibility, but after you walk across the room several times and then walk back across just to turn out the light, your nerve will fray and then you realize you do not want anyone else to go through this. Building the house is overwhelming and you trust the electrician to know what he is doing because I certainly did not go to school for that or an apprentiship, or work 20 years for Mobley. I would hire at your own risk...
