If V.R.'s were in the city of Boston, the lines would go around the block. They offer consistenly fine, fresh seafood & an outstanding salad bar. We've been dining there several times a summer for more than a decade, and have never been let down. Every meal has us saying to each other - ""We've got to do this more often!"" No, we don't have any stake in the place. We just really enjoy dining there. Reservations are a good idea, but not mandatory. If you like seafood, try ""Seafood V.R.'s"" - an assortment of great flavors, - scallops, shrimp & schrod. Their steaks and prime rib are fine, too. On our latest trip (June 6, 2009), tried their Blackened Kapalua Ahi Tuna - Better than best!
Opened our evening with a dozen clams casino (shared by two) and trips to the salad bar. A great evening out (again!). October 2010 - We've been to VR's a half dozen times this summer (if it weren't for the 'new retiree's budget,' we'd be there a couple of times a week!). Their menu has something for everyone - and has only improved over time. We love this place!!!
Pros: Quality , Consistency, Friendly service
