I just wanted to have a state safety inspection and they told me i need to repair a series of things which cost ~$400. I decided to change to another place and found the ""check engine"" light is on. I told them the light was never on and it must be something they did that made it on. They refused. I spent 30 minutes arguing with them and the boss finally agreed to flush the code to make the light off, for free. Okay, then after that, the brake lights didn't work. They missfired the voltage and broke all three bulbs during the flush. However they denied that it was their responsibility. I lost patience and it ended up I paid $50 to repair the bulbs so that I could drive out this garage to another place without being tailgated! Btw, there is no customer waiting area in the garage.
