We were so excited to try this place when a friend raved about the live music. Our first disappointment: they discontinued live music. We stayed anyway, and had a passable dinner (me pork, my husband veal) that we nonetheless felt was extremely overpriced--over $60, not including wine (which was similarly high). The food wasn't bad, but for this much money, we expected something really special. Something that turned my admittedly delicate stomach--the wait staff cleared a table close to us and wiped away the spilled food on the cloth tablecloth, then re-set the table. I would think for a restaurant charging this much they would at least put out fresh tablecloths for each new customer. It made me look at our tablecloth with a little hesitation. The ambience of this place is also a little strange--the patio was spacious, but dilapidated. My attorney husband immediately noticed a gaping hole in the decking and just clucked (I think he saw dollar signs, LOL), plus there was occasional thumping disco music played over the stereo (luckily we weren't close to any speakers). The place was virtually empty and I don't think it will be around much longer. The owner seemed overly solicitious, perhaps because she had so few customers. Pros: Good potential Cons: Too much money for nothing special
