Businiess name:  Standard Parking

Review content:
I was trying to go to Sears to pick up a heavy item and needed to park near their entrance. I didn't realize that there were several standard parking lots all in a small area and accidentally pulled into the wrong one. By the time I got out of my car, realized I was in the wrong place, went back down the ramp to leave, and waited for the person in front of me to pay 6 minutes had passed. I told them I had accidentally pulled into the wrong lot and they were going to make me pay $4! I tried to reason with the clerk, then the supervisor, and resorted to paying to keep the line moving as 10 minutes had gone by. Finally, they *offered* to have me get the parking validated and come back, but I would need to leave my driver's license with them as collateral?! I called the manager on her cell phone and she was quite rude. I could have accepted them being apologetic about their customer unfriendly policy and acknowledging that it was unfair in this type of situation, but instead she was condescending and rude and kept repeating the policy over and over: the sign says 0 - 1 hours is $4. I spoke with the manager at Sears and they said there was nothing they could do. Way to go standard parking - next time I will go to the mall where there is plenty of free parking and I don't get treated like I'm stupid for making an innocent mistake. Cons: rude customer service, unfair treatment
