I have used the advice from several different people and found them to be extremely helpful. So here I am. Our car broke down between Sonoma and Napa. Being new to the area, we used to GPS to contact the closest Auto repair place. The gentleman seemed genuine and although his truck wasn't prepared to tow our 4-wheel drive vehicle, he would call the towing place he used and would send them. Wonderful..Right? Well, the truck arrived. Took our car and did a great job. We were 4-5 miles from Napa..the shop was located on the west side of Napa..\r
We get to this facility, speak to the gentleman and he tells us, we need to pay for the tow. Ok, no big deal. Right? Well, it turns out the tow was 165.00. Excessive to say the least. He advertises reasonable rates...What a complete lie!!! I believe we were definately taken advantage of...and shame on you Mr. Escalante!! I spoke with our insurance agent and he assured me, had we called them first...it wouldn't have been over 50.00. We called the mechanic first..not our insurance..oh well.. we'll know next time...But if you're in the Sonoma/Napa area and break down...don't call this place...it'll cost ya!
