I absolutely love this place and I have tried all of the other hip places in the city: Coast, Blue Coral, Japonais, Kaze, Tsunami, etc. You name it and I tried it. Not that those places were not good, they were very good, there is just something about Blue Fin that is super special to me that makes me come back. The atmosphere is nice yet not too fancy. The staff is always super friendy and the Blue fin maki...always delicious (and I have tried every single one.) They also have amazing packages like the Honeymoon that my boyfriend and I always come back for. The Honeymoon is $50 and includes 4 maki of your choice, (we always choose blue fin maki - our favorites: Akayama, Hot Night, Golden Dragon, Shiroyama), 2 miso soups, 2 salads, edamame, and an appetizer of your choice. That is a LOT of food for two people and definitely an amazing deal for $50; the four Blue Fin maki alone cost more than that! We always leave so happy and satisfied and often times, have food to take home with us.
