Review content:
All the pets in my family have gone to Dr. Sharpes' clinic since she started practice in this area about 20 years ago, and none of us have ever had an unpleasant visit.\r \r Dr. Sharpe has a quiet and gentle demeanor that seems to be very soothing and calming to both dogs and cats. Even my most panicked and terrified cat that was in severe pain (she had been bitten nearly in half) relaxed in her presence. She has always been very calm and kind to all of our pets, even the naughty ones. She seems to enjoy both dogs and cats, not just tolerate them. Dr. Sharpe takes a slightly more 'holistic' or natural approach to care, which I greatly prefer. She operates on the philosophy of ""first do no harm"". She won't give your pet drugs it does not need just for the sake of ""doing something"". She won't do procedures unless absolutley necessary and if there's a home treatment you can do, she will always have you try that first. Dr. Sharpe seems truely more interested in the welfare of the animal before just doing something that will make money. I've had visits with other vets for my dog, a rottweiler, and they have been somewhat unpleasant and apprehensive around him because of his breed. Not Dr. Sharpe. She has always treated him for how HE is, not his breed stereotype, and that makes all the difference to me. For most of us, our pets are family and we want them cared for as such, and Dr. Sharpe will, and always has, done that.\r \r The vet techs/ staff are VERY knowledgeable and helpful. I feel assured when asking them a question or for advice, that they know what they are talking about and are giving me information that I can trust. No one at the clinic ever makes me feel that I am asking dumb or unimportant questions. All of them have always been very pleasant and nice to talk to and deal with. The clinic itself is well maintained, is always very clean and the cost of office visits are very reasonably priced at around $35.\r \r I feel this clinic has no negatives really, but the only downside is they offer no emergency care. There are other area places to go, but if my dog or cat were having an emergency, I wish that they could receive Dr. Sharpes care and not someone elses.\r \r I highly recommend Dr. Sharpe, her staff and the Brightside Pet Clinic. They provide fantastic and extremely knowledgeable care to all of my and my familys pets in a very professional and kind manner.\r
