Made a reservation for 16 + 1 baby. When we arrived there was no high chair set up and no where to put one... the waitress suggested I set my child away from the table by himself. We ended up splitting up our group to accommodate my 15mo old child. Waitress was not friendly at all. Glasses were chipped. At one point my child was screaming (not continuous and not that loudly), keep in mind this is a pub/restaurant not a country club... I was trying to get him calmed down. I didn't realize it was going to be such an issue. Our waitress informed us the noise was bothering the other folks in the restaurant and I'd have to leave with my child. Our waitress said in over 25 years she had never seen a child so noisy. I worked in a restaurant for four years in high school so I have an idea how kids act and my child was in no way out of control. They should have informed us when we made our reservation that children were unwelcome. I was very offended and would never recommend Mr. G's. The economy must be doing just fine in Door County as the owner didn't seemed concerned at all about our displeasure or losing business. I'm really at a loss on this place. Cons: Rude staff, completely intolerant of young children.
