I guess I wanted a quite complicated audio/video installation in my new Honda Pilot 2007. When I purchased my new vehicle I wanted an overhead DVD system and an auxiliary jack input for my MP3 player (not IPOD). These two features were not available in any standard configuration of Honda Pilot 2007 model. So my dealer redirected me to California Car Sounds. However, there was some initial miscommunication about the AUX jack installation. As a result only overhead DVD was installed and that too the sound link with the car audio was through FM channel, which was pretty poor in quality.\r \r I explained the situation to CA Car Sounds guys and they understood my requirement immediately. Moreover, to help me to get the perfect solution the guy named ""Erin"" suggested me that he can install a device with two AUX inputs - one of which will be wired to the DVD system. Since the part for the specific vehicle was not in the stock, they had to order it and then instal it at later time. However, the initial instalation satisfied all the requirement with good sound quality, except that it disabled my XM radio. But this guy did not give up and figured out another way to configure to have two AUX inputs along with XM/Nav/In-Dash-6-CD-Changer.\r \r Probably this AUX device was a rare thing and I had to wait almost a month for the part. And when it arrived the installation was perfect with AUX input through the AUX button in the Radio, and XM remained as original installlation through XM button. I am not sure what AUX adapter he used to get this peculiar installation, but I can bet this guy worked hard to find out the solution.\r \r Also I had some complains about the sound quality of the overhead DVD. So these guys gladly replaced with a new one (though sound quality did not improve a lot and that's the product's problem - I believe). In the mean time I bugged the lady in their reception quite often about the status of my part, and she was quite helpful to communicate with technicians. Pros: Very knowlegeable technicians with friendly customer service Cons: Took little longer to solve the problem than I expected, but that was due to delay in availability of part
