Brow waxing is one of the few salon services that I have consistently been devoted to for years. As I travel for work, I?ve had the opportunity to see some of the best at top salons. When I moved to Minneapolis 5 years ago, I gave several local salons a try, but never found anyone that seemed to do more then throw on a dab of wax and rip it off and call it brow shaping. I was happy to discover Leah shortly after her Extrados location in Mpls opened a couple of years ago, and have been a devoted customer ever since. \r \r At my first several appointments, Leah helped me fix the mistakes that other salons had made, and let me know what areas needed to grow out....and taught me how to add pencil and powder to finish the look. Now they're perfect! \r \r My appointments just for brows are usually 20 minutes---and I come out with a shape meant for my face. This is so much more then the 5-minute drive-thru waxing you've had at other places, where you come out with the same shape as everyone else in the salon. They also add pencil/powder/highlighter as it fits for your face....and the extra-touch that I love---a bit of cover-up to the red spots. How many times have you gone for a waxing, and been mortified to go out in public and discover the red/shiny splotches on your face? \r \r The location is convenient, the space is beautiful, and the staff is all friendly. They always offer you water, or anti-oxidant tea. And on the few times where I've come in and they are running late, I've been offered a free paraffin hand-treatment or a foot soak while I wait.\r \r I never thought I'd find this type of big-city expertise in the Twin Cities. Leah is the best I've encountered, and I've seen upwards of 30+ different specialists over the years. Pros: great location, on-time, and highly trained/skilled staff who care
