Review content:
This is a review for both the Kirkland location and the Seattle location (not currently listed on Citysearch). We asked the Seattle store about a particular rifle over the phone - whether they have it in stock and how much it costs. When we came into the store, it turned out that they didn't have the rifle in stock (looked like they hadn't carried it in a long time), but they immediately offered to order it for us - for a price that was more than 1.5 times the price we were quoted over the phone. We also bought a large box of Bulgarian surplus ammo from this store, and about 10% of the shells were cracked so that you could remove the bullet by simply shaking the cartridge. Such cartridges are dangerous to shoot and the store should not be selling them. They should have checked them first and not put them on sale. Going back to rifles, we were also interested in a different kind of rifle and the Seattle store checked the computer (or pretended to) and said the Kirkland store had it and quoted us a price of $600 (very reasonable for that kind of rifle). We proceeded to drive to Kirkland, spending two hours on the road in rush hour traffic, only to find out that they are actually selling the rifle for $1,200. The prices listed on the tags at both stores only apply if you pay with cash or a debit card; otherwise, they are more expensive but of course they don't tell you until you check out. When checking out, they entered my name into some sort of internal database without asking me first - they only asked me if it was all right after they did it. Also at the Kirkland store, they wanted to sell us a rifle magazine for $100 when this type of magazine sells for $40 max everywhere else. When I told them that it usually costs a lot less, they continued to claim that their price was the norm. One final note: the return policy basically doesn't let you return anything. Do the research and shop around for the items you need before you go - don't let them take advantage of you. Cons: they cheat their customers; prices are too high
