The food is yummy. The service was quick enough. My toddler enjoyed eating a big bowl of rice and beans, I enjoyed the pollo asado porque plate. The guac isn't spectacular. The simple salad on my plate was tasty. My mom enjoyed the special tacos of the day which were some kind of shrimp.
Honestly, there is a reason there is a line out the door, other than that people like to stand in line. People like to eat good food. Given that there are so many great places to eat in Portland they aren't waiting in line to eat food they don't enjoy. This food is simple and savory. Not fancy. And I thought the portions were generous.
Pros: pollo asado, rice and beans
Cons: corn tortillas weren't great
