Review content:
The other reviews for this facility are old, it has changed leadership and now is XL Soccer. This place is unorganized, unclean, and lacks adequate supervision for younger children. I had my son in a 1-week camp this summer. Firstly, even after I had prepaid months in advance, the current management made us pay again when we arrived, and gave us a number to request a refund from ""SoccerDome"". This took much effort to retrieve our initial payment for refund, what an inconvenience! As for operations, unorganized pretty much says it all. We had a different camp leader for the younger group every day, I know one was probably 13-15. It was like a kid taking care of a bunch of little kids. Unclean? As stated in another review, desperately needs to be cleaned and renovated (which they seemed to be making slow progress with to some degree, but there's just way too much to be done). Supervision? My perception every day was that my child could have walked out the front door and down Hillsborough and no one would have known he was gone. Now I am not above mentioning the positives. The main manager, and another man who seemed to the the lead coach, were extremely personable and probably know quite a bit about playing soccer. My child also seemed to have a good time (one week of unorganized independence would be fun for any 6 y.o.). But that's where I draw the line on positives. They obviously have an athlete trying to run this business. Sorry XL Soccer, but we'll search for alternatives next time. Pros: Inexpensive, some of the staff are qualified to teach soccer Cons: Unorganized, unclean, lack of good supervision
