Review content:
I asked Sylvester Hagan, salesman, for a quote over the phone. When I got to the dealership he had tacked on $800 more than the quote. When I confronted him about it, he said there was no way he could give me the price he quoted. When I asked why then did he quote me a price he could not give me he said to get me in the store because most customers will end up paying more than the quote once they get back in the store. I then accused him of lying to me. He admitted to it and asked me what I was going to do about it. He told me if I don't like it go somewhere else because he does not care what his customers think as long as he gets the sale. When I asked for the manager, the manager supported his salesman. The letter I wrote to Jeff Mauck, owner, was mysteriously never received and I never got a response. The manager did call me back two days later to say he spoke to Sylvester, admitted his mistake and offered me the car $500 dollars above the quoted price. I rejected the offer. A day later the manager called me again and offered the vehicle at the quoted price. I told him he should have offered me the quoted price the first time before he lied to me and I bought a similar vehicle at another dealership.\r

Jack Maxton Chevrolet cannot be trusted and should never be shopped at by anyone.
Cons: poor sales tactics!
