At the Pearl Office Depot, If you use a credit or debit card, check your statement for DOUBLE BILLING.
Their copy machines are self-service: you swipe your card & print your own job. The final page prints ""take this to a cashier."" Cashier swipes your card, but guess what?!
My banks statement showed I was charged twice! I took it & a printed receipt (the cashier didn't give me a check-out receipt) to the Manager. But he assured me that ""No, it's impossible to charge you twice if the machine printed that statement."" He assured me that I MUST have gone to Office Depot that week to buy something else. (Both charges were for slightly different amounts.)
I returned home and checked my Office Depot Rewards account and found proof that both charges were the SAME 42 documents. I returned & got a refund, and the manager didn't seem surprised. I'm sure LOTS of people are being charged twice AND lied to.
