Review content:
I contacted Mountain Top Paving for an estimate for a blacktop driveway in the spring . They came to my home and provided me with an estimate. I elected to have them do the driveway work for me. They told me I was on the list and scheduled for early August. I did not hear from them at all until I called them in Mid September. They returned my call and told me my driveway would be done within a week. They came to my home again and looked at the proposed driveway on a Wednesday. They told me to contact the utility companies to mark the water and gas lines and they would be back on Saturday to start the job. (Note: In PA the contractor or person doing the excavation is required to call PAOne or the utility companies not the home owner. They should have already done this.) It has been over two weeks and not only did they fail to start the work on Saturday but I have not heard from them either. I called them at least 8-10 times and they have failed to return my calls. In my experience with this company they seem to be extremely unreliable and I would not recommend them. Pros: unknown. they never showed up to do the job Cons: unreliable
