I dined there when they first opened and wasn't too impressed. Fast-forward two years and not much has changed. Loma Saltado - a Pervian staple - didn't include fries. What too low class? That's how the entree is made. Other dishes were average versions of the authentic, but with portions and price tags that were obscene. The server was great, the water/bread guy slow and with attitude. I prefer that they charge even more, but give a portion that doesn't make me want to order another entree because I'm still hungry. (I'm 5'11"", 168 lbs, so don't go there.) Why are we innundated with glowing reviews about Pearl restuarants, when most fall way short? Pros: dipping sauces Cons: price to value, price to value, price to value
