Review content:
I'm unhappy to say that I have done business with this company, The New Hollywood Cleaners, 3555 Victory Blvd. Staten Island, N.Y. I brought a pair of satin Ann Taylor pants to be cleaned and they came back stained from the chemicals use on them. You would think I would have learned but a year later I brought a faux fur to be cleaned and it was ruined. This fairly new coat was cleaned once before by a different establishment and I had no problem. With New Hollywood Cleaners the coat was ruined. The coat lost half the fullness it had when I first I brought it in. It was as if it was thinned out. I was now able to see the seams on the coat where it was once full. There are now pock marks in the coat. The luster is gone. It looks terrible. My husband went in to speak with Mr. Park and he said my coat was old. Even though this is untrue, if he believed the coat was old and would turn out like this, he should not have cleaned it without informing me of the possible unsatisfactory outcome. He offered my husband no compensation nor myself when I called to speak with him one phone. He told me he was not the owner of the store. I believe he and his wife own the store and operate it. They were unkind and I would only deter consumers from bringing their clothing there. I am seriously considering only buying clothing that does not have to be dry cleaned.
