I live right around the corner from Park Blue. I usually go to Park Blue once every two months to conduct a little wine tasting with a friend of mine. My friend and I are adept at selecting good wines and for the best value. The wine selection at Park Blue is great but pricey. They have quality wines from around the world. When my friend and I ran out of ideas, the sommelier came over and provided a few suggestions based upon our tastes. He selected a wine that exceeded our expectations. Overall, the service is outstanding and extremely attentive. I always feel welcome and comfortable, which is ironic since Park Blue can give a person a pretentious feeling from outside the establishment. I have been to Park Blue during the week between 9pm and 11pm. The crowd was mellow and the place was busy. The snacks are small but good. I really haven't given the menu a full tasting since it is pricey. The wines are also expensive. A wine will cost double the retail price for a half bottle. It is a shame since I would love to visit twice a month to sample their wine list and to pick the sommelier's brain. When my friend and I can no longer afford a half bottle of wine, we switch to mixed drinks. A large drink equivalent to a double averages out to the same price of a martini in NYC. I definitely recommend Park Blue. I think you will like it, but I am not sure how often you can afford to go back. \r Pros: The atmosphere, wine selection, sommelier, service Cons: Price
