Review content:
I discovered that SJR froze my savings and checking account after I had tried to pay my restaurant bill. My debit card was declined. Mind you this is around 9:30PM on Saturday five days before Christmas. I know they froze my account late Friday, because I had taken money out Friday afternoon. The sad part of all this is I have to wait to Monday to find out why they froze my account. I honestly don't have a clue. And before you write that ""positive"" review or defend the integrity of SJR, I do pay bills, I never received a notice from court or any one or any company or from SJR for that matter that there was a judgment against me or that I owe money. On Monday I get to judge for myself Stephanie Bowman's character. || Monday has gone and passed. Stephanie Bowman was pleasant enough explaining why she froze my accounts. A huge mistake, which I won't get into here. I'll focus on her actions. She kept explaining she wanted to help resolve this issue. All she needed to know was my banking information, my home address, and my work information. Hmmm.... Who was she trying to help? It gets better. I asked who froze my account; who was the client? That's when she got nasty and loud. She wouldn't tell me. The more I pressed, the more insistent she was that she was trying to help. I just needed to answer her questions. I finally got the name of the client. By law I have a right to know who she?s collecting for and why. Why the game play. My bank provided additional information. In it, it says that Thomas Archer, Esq. issued the subpoena. Thomas Archer has the same number as SJR. Martindale is major legal publisher. Martindale publishes the most comprehensive list of practicing attorneys in the US. Funny, there is no Thomas Archer listed in Martindale. Check for yourself google ""martindale"".
Cons: Froze my account Friday night, 5 days before x-mas, after they turned their phones. Rude, obnoxious, and deceptive, they pretend to want to help.
