Maybe I am spoiled but there are only 4 good places to get Italian food, Italy, Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. I do not know if the owner got lost along the way (we hear he is from the Bronx) but the food was not good at all. I mean when does curry go on shrimp scampi????? We asked the waitress and she checked with the cook and yep curry on shrimp scampi. The service was good. I did not see any mob style except for the standard Frank Sinatra picture and a few pictures here and there. The cheese on my scallop parm was not even melted. Salad was shameful. Prices well..........way too much for what we got. No coffee had to ask and it took them 40 minutes to produce some coffee. The person that ran the place either was a buffoon or was trying to act like a 'wise guy', I go for the buffoon. The only thing I liked was the view of the lake. You can eat inside or out and the table presentation was beautiful. The lake is a smoke screen for the terrible food. I gave it two stars for view and service of the waitress, other than that thumbs down.
