I have two kids attending this daycare (ages 3 and 6) and they absolutely love it as much as I do! My kids have attended 4 or 5 day care centers in the past and we have FINALLY found the perfect place! ""Stepping Stones"" in Union Gap, I thought was way too strict with the kids. My daughter (1at the time) had an older lady for a teacher that was obviously stressed out, i don't think I ever saw her smile or even make eye contact with me. My kids were there for about a year, however my daughter cried everyday at drop off until I changed places. My son had an extremely difficult time while at Learning Tree in Union Gap. He had a speech delay issue at the time and would get irritated when not understood, but instead of the teachers trying to work with him he would sometimes be ""separated"" and placed alone outside, of course teacher could still ""watch"" him through the glass door. His teacher at the time told me he would punch, kick, slam his body and head against the door trying to get back inside where the rest of the kids were. Finally after about a year ""katie"" the owner or manager decided to move my son to Learning Tree's Kid's Club where the classes are smaller and where I would say the teachers are more accepting. My son did great at this new daycare, he had no incidents after the switch, I just wish the lady would of thought to do the switch much sooner. I never felt my child was truly ""accepted"" at the old place because he was different. We moved so I had to change daycares again and finally the light at the end of the tunnel TAYLOR TOTS! kids and I love the teachers, kids love the fun activities and field trips, healthy meals kids actually eat, and open 24 hours! HOMERUN!!! The only thing I wasn't sure about was the day cares location but i'm soooo glad I gave them a try. I PREFER a FUN, learning environment, with loving, caring, compassionate teachers OVER a pretty building in a pretty location any day. Might I add- my daughter only cried at drop off the first 2 days of day care and my son is psyched that he gets to spend all day at day care while on Summer vacation.
