Businiess name:  Sweet Basil Thai Cuisine
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
I find the Sweet Basil charming. It is *not* a soup kitchen, and not hurried. Quick noon snacks may or may not be an option, depending on one's schedule. If a person has more than an hour to enjoy the meal, I recommend this place. The visual presentation is the best part of the meal. Try the trout, for one, as an example. If you can stand ""the heat"", Sweet Basil will crank it up to any level without destroying the meal. Note that Sweet Basil has a restaurant recently opened (same people) on Powell Street in Gresham's east side (near Hogan). Same food, same ambience, less crowded, therefore quieter Pros: food quality, authenticity, visual presentation Cons: noisy when crowded
