I've learned my lesson, never buying from Groupon again. Jeani Wright claims to be a small business owner, but she's a thief. she stole my money and refuses to give a refund for a service that she admittedly overcharged me for and treatments she never completed. Furthermore, she should have a nurse/doctor on staff to sign off on her treatments, which she doesn't. That's against the law, so in addition to being a thief, Jeani Wright is unlawful. BE AWARE shall you decide to wrongfully proceed.\r \r I consider myself to be an educated consumer. I do my research before making a purchase and this holds true when it came to purchasing this Groupon deal: I was looking to score a good deal on laser hair removal treatments for my face. I was never the kind of gal with a hairy face, but the light fuzz was bothersome. When I saw Jeani's deal, I immediately called Mascola salon to see what areas were categorized as ""small"" vs. ""medium""- based on the information shared, I purchased the small area.\r \r I showed up to my first treatment session to learn that I had been misinformed. I purchased an extra package, a medium package, which Jeani later admitted to overcharging me. Additionally, she told me that I have to shave my own face prior to treatment (when lasering, shaving the area clean is a must) or she would charge me $25 to do it. WHAT? That alone is disheartening let alone, wrong- which woman knows how to shave her face???. I've had laser treatments around town and nobody has ever charged me to shave the area, instead it's part of the service. Right then and there, I should have asked for a full refund. I silenced my intuition thinking it was just a bad start to what could been a great deal.\r \r no, it only got worse from there. Not only did Jeani seem dazed and confused every appointment, but as soon as I arrived, each and every time she would ask which treatment area she was treating. WHAT? She's the aesthetician, that information should be documented. Each and every time, I would have to remind her. Instead of hair reduction, I noticed there was more hair- the laser treatments were having reverse effects to the point where people around me were asking about the hair growth on my face, i'm not kidding. During one of our treatments, Jeani herself acknowledged it, but did nothing about it. she also told me that a number of her new clients were disappointed with her service and had called groupon for a refund. \r \r Finally, I maxed out. I couldn't take her lack of professionalism nor accept the fact that she was destroying my face. I called and asked for a refund- I offered to come in to show her the excessive hair growth or send her photos and she told me not to worry about it and that she'd pop a check in the mail. two weeks go by, NOTHING. I called her to ask about the status of my refund and she told me she was waiting on photos from me. WHAT? I had just had my face waxed because she told me I didn't need to submit documentation. sadly, I wasn't surprised. she's queen of contradiction- she can never remember anything.\r \r long story short, I went in to meet with her to learn that she was not going to refund me my money.\r \r I can't say anything positive about her. i'm all about supporting local business and/or small business owners, but Jeani should not be service. I absolutely believe in fairness and respect, and I believe in giving credit where credit is due. To Jeani's credit: she lacks integrity, professionalism, and does not know how to run a business, therefore she should NOT be referring to herself as a small business owner. Instead, she should call herself a joke.
