Review content:
OK, I realize the Spring-Summer season is very busy, what with weddings and proms, but I never expected to be kept waiting for half an hour for my SCHEDULED bridal gown fitting. The sales rep was double booked and the store was mobbed at 7:30 on a Monday night in late April. I thought I'd be led around to check out styles; instead, I was given a book to flip through and told to fold down corners on the pages I liked. The rep brought me 5-6 dresses, all a similar style, and when I asked about a different style she said they had nothing available. Knowing the store was closing at 9:00 and feeling very rushed, I settled for a dress, not at all sure if it was the ""right"" one. Fortunately, I only paid $198.00. I would not recommend David's Bridal. There are only two locations in Connecticut and the store definitely needs more people on staff. Also, when you call, no one seems to know which department to send you to...for a simple alterations appointment or to pick up your dress. Beware of the constant marketing e-mail and phone calls you'll receive, too. They sell your contact information. Pros: Low prices Cons: Minimal customer service
