ALAN is the best stylist west of the Mississippi (and east as well) . . . at the age of 59, after years of hot rollers and mediocre haircuts, I found the only stylist who took one look at me and new exactly what I needed. I had always tried to talk to my stylists about a new ""do"" for me, but they showed no creativeness, and generally just cut my hair like it had been. With ALAN, he talked to me about what he thought, showed me as he was cutting what the result would be, and styled my hair showing me each step I could do at home to achieve the same fantastic results. My friends and coworkers were amazed at the difference! I walked into a wedding reception with my son one evening and my own mother said ""I wondered who that cute young girl was coming in with my grandson!"" Fun comments like that all the time. We experimented with product to make sure we had the right shampoos/styling product/spray that worked and I liked. Again, noone has ever taken so much time, cared so much or been such a boon to my ""hair"" ego. And I haven't even gotten started on my color . . . being that I am very grey, my base/highlights & lowlights gave me a youthful appearance as well as my cut. Visiting ALAN will be one of your smartest moves ever!!!
