I moved in on Saturday. It started the moment I stepped foot into the leasing office to get my keys. I was lead to believe I would be receiving an nonsmoking apartment-that was not the case. I'm borderline allergic to cigarettes!! If I didn't have a UHaul and a bunch of people doing me a huge favor to help me move 55 miles I would have left!
I get to my apartment and it SMELLS. BAD. Like a mix of stale and fresh cigarette smoke, pesticides and cat. I can't light enough candles!
Since Saturday I had a broken mailbox - the lock was busted and the mailman continued to put mail in my a broken, wide open mailbox. The toilet in my apartment has not worked for 4 days and the property management staff ARGUED with me that someone had been out there to fix. Eventually after 7pm they installed a new toilet. Also, the shower in my apartment sounds like a jackhammer. I'm sure my neighbors loved that.
I've since asked about their 30 day satisfaction guarantee because I will NOT be living there for 30 days ...
