Review content:
This place was absolutely horrible! I had knee surgery and was referred to them for physical therapy about 2 1/2 weeks after my surgery. There were strict instructions from the orthopedic surgeon that I was not to do any strenuous exercise for at least 6 weeks after surgery. I was seen VERY briefly by one of the therapists...then shuffled off to whom I assumed was an assistant for the remainder of my appointment. Next thing I knew he had be doing deep ""exaggerated"" lunges, knee bends, and squats. I was in pain but assumed he knew what he was doing. The final straw was when he went to put a cuff around my knee attached to a pully system with weights to do ""power squats"". I asked him not to put it on my knee because I had just had surgery. His response? ""Oh you had surgery?"" This idiot hadn't even read my chart, had no clue I had just had surgery, and was left ALONE with me for at least 20 minutes! I found out later that he is a student in a physical therapy assistant program...yet I was left in his care, without him even reading my chart or being the slightest bit aware of my condition. I ended up back on pain medication and had a major set back in my recovery as a result of this. 6 weeks post op now, and I am in worse condition than I was 2 weeks post op...all thanks to 1 visit to Olympic Physical Therapy.
