Review content:
My husband and I live in the Clintonville area and try to support local businesses. After dining at Mozarts on four separate occasions, we will not return. We have purchased the tiramisu, chocolate mousse cake, carrot cake, and several other pastry items and each was stale and old. The breakfasts were just so-so, and entrees leave a lot to be desired. Last night we ordered sandwiches and they were sloppy, greasy, and soggy. The problem with these sandwiches was that they were made from poor quality ingredients, the meat was slimey, and they were poorly constructed. Our critique is based on years of experience as a cook, and the food that we were served at Mozarts would never have left the kitchens that we have worked in.\r \r I hope that Mozarts does start paying more attention to quality. Its location and ambience are wonderful and it is a romantic place to get a table for two either inside to listen to the piano, or outside on their small patio. I really wanted this to be a place that we could keep going to, but after being there four times I won't sink any more money into sub par food. Pros: Good location, nice ambience, ok wine, nice place to go if only ordering wine Cons: food, pastries
