Review content:
I have used Mediacom for 3 years now, since moving to Hendersonville, for my cable TV and for my High Speed Internet service (domain: mchsi). About a year ago, I also went onto the full package, with telephone service as well. It has taken the full 3 years to get a ""bucket"" truck and ""line"" tech out; he spent all afternoon replacing the cable underground as well as in the attic. He stated that the new cable lines should have been installed to start with - and that new cable should have been put in 3 years ago. MCHSI did follow up on his request, and credited me with 2 months of phone service, since it was down more than up. I am now having ongoing problems for several months with email bouncing from my mchsi address to several domains. Mediacom refuses to address the issue, insisting that the other Internet providers need to deal with it. The other ISP techs have tried to deal with them, and have been advised that Mediacom has issues with several domains, and i need to talk to them. The customer service techs have been rude, and stuck with the party line that the OTHER ISPs need to deal with it. There has been a lack of cooperation and consideration for the poor service i have gotten. I would change if there were another cable provider available.
Pros: great speed on cable internet WHEN IT WORKS.
Cons: mail bounces from several other domains and customer service refuses to address the issue.
