Our JennAir stovetop had an electrical problem so I called this place which boasted knowing about cooktops. The repairman, who was very nice, and had to come back twice due to not having parts did not seem to know how to deal with the glass top and apparently had never replaced one. He had to do it twice and in the process apparently cracked it as I found a couple of weeks later. We got no satisfaction from the company owner, who told us that there might be flaws in the glass that show up later - right, for years it's fine, til you mess with it, then it cracks all on it's own. We had to call him back in to fix an erroneously wired switch, which seem to mystify him. I warned him to not remove the top a 3rd time for nothing (fearing it might crack at the bottom and fall in half if disturbed too much) so he said he would come back on Monday to fix it and then decided to just drop the whole matter without calling. We had to call the company to get him to come back and fix it.
