Review content:
So I am not sure if anyone from Hog Wild is reading these reviews, but some one needs to help out this place. I read the last review and I have to agree with some of the comments that reviewer left. I have been back twice since after my first review. The second visit no problems except some of the meat was not hot just warm. One of my sides, bean, was the same. The service was better then the last time but the food was still just warm. In the last reviewer comments about hearing someone say they don't know good BBQ, let me say this first before going on. I am a certified judge in BBQ competitions and have traveled across the USA eating BBQ, so I think I might know some thing about BBQ. The meat we got on the second visit did seem to have more fat then usual. The brisket was tougher and my guess was it was not cooked long enough to get that tender state. The pulled pork was not bad but had chunks of fat in it.. One of the suggestion on the second visit they said they were going to go to a waiter style instead of ordering at the counter. Great idea since that would clear up the confusion of the orders. On March 22 at 1150 my wife and I went for our third time to see if things inmproved. We walked in and was greeted with a sign that said please wait to be seated. We were given a seat with a menu. I was told that Alex would be our waiter. This was one of the changes that I was told about and looking forward to see anything changed. The dinning room had less then 10 people in it. My wife and I talked about what we were going to have as I watched Alex the only male wait staff. I watch Alex check on the others who had meals. I watched two other single males walk into get seated and got their order taken. I continue to watch Alex walk past and around out table with out even ""I will be with you."" I contnued to watch Alex talk with the other staff and manager while we waited to place our order. After sitting there for 13 minutes and no one seem to ask about taking our order we got up and left. I found one wait staff and told them how pissed off I was that after siting there and watching others getting service we got nothing. She offered a manager but for me that was too late cause I can see the manager and wait staff watching me as I was talking. I will one more time go back to Hog Wild for another review in about a month. Sorry but if thing dont change for this place I am afaird they will lose more business then gain.
