Review content:
I had a minor front end collision in my 2000 Nissan Maxima, but unfortunately, the location of the collision was my right front wheel, causing a significant amount of mechanical damage. I took my car the Bochek's because it was the closest body shop to me on the State Farm network. I will not use this shop again and I have reported them to state farm.\r
\r
They took more than a month to repair my car, and only after significant prompting. They put in replacement parts that were MUCH worse than the parts I had in the 8 year old car (they are called reconditioned). The worse part is that they either didn't replace or used such a faulty reconditioned tie rod end in the vehicle that the right front wheel (where the collision occurred) that there was an inch of play on the wheel. I immediately felt the problem when I drove the car and immediately took it to my regular mechanic where they immediately discovered the problem and I had to have a supplemental insurance claim filed to have the car fixed properly. They also repainted a wheel (which they didn't tell me) and didn't even balance it! Their report on the repair was a handwritten note with no useful information on it.\r
\r
The funniest part is that because they kept the car so long, they actually delivered it (driving it over 5 miles to my home) and didn't notice the problem at all. It took my regular mechanic a single right turn to notice it. It took them 5 minutes to find the problem! It was also at this point he told me the vehicle would not pass inspection and was not safe to drive in this condition.\r
\r
Finally after receiving the car back from the second repair, the shocks were so dead (again reconditioned parts) that it felt like I was feeling every single nook and cranny in the road so I had to trade in the car that I love and replace it.\r
\r
Am I disgusted? You bet! Please do not waste your time and money on this place.
Pros: They did deliver the vehicle at no charge, and they were courteous on the phone.
Cons: They did a poor job on my repair, were very hard to reach, did not return calls, and left the car unsafe to drive requiring a second repair.
