While not exactly right on schedule (might want to bring a book or your knitting), I was extremely pleased that, once in consultation with Dr. Key, I had absolutely 100% of his undivided attention and interest. Dr. Key was very informative, explained details carefully, and listened to my concerns. I left the office with a realistic treatment plan in hand. My biggest ""concern"" for years has been my under eye bags, which just kept getting lower and more prominent. I have had several consultations for surgery and thought that was the way to go. However, one surgeon had advised me as Dr. Key also did in my consultation: ""Don't remove the fat. You'll be sorry."" Dr. Key explained that the problem wasn't really too much fat, but that there was ""sinking"" going on around the eye area. His suggestion was using filler to build up the area right below them, which I just recently had done. I have to say that the results were much better than I had hoped. Immediately, the bags were lifted up and therefore appeared significantly smaller. How I love immediate gratification! I will have just a little more filler in the ""tear trough"" area and that should further reduce the appearance of the bags. I just really appreciated understanding that the real problem wasn't necessarily that there was too much fat, but that the problem was in the ""sinking"" of the surrounding skin. I found Dr. Key to be very attentive and thorough and interested in making sure that I was understanding everything he was explaining to me. His office staff were also very professional, friendly, and sensitive. I mean, let's face it, we're there because we're unhappy with something about our appearance, something that makes us self-conscious, and they understand and are very respectful. I also had some filler in the jowl area which helped to smooth out that area, diminishing the jowl shadows that add that dreaded ""aged"" appearance. I will probably add just a little more there, as well, on my next visit. I am seriously considering the Ulthera. Why not have all new collagen? I can really appreciate the male reviewer's comment about our tendency to not think twice about certain kinds of purchases, but really wrestle with spending a similar amount of money on our appearance, and more importantly how we feel about ourselves on a daily basis. I, for one, am all for it. And I am looking forward to continuing my new relationship with Dr. Key and his staff, and anticipate good things as a result.
