Review content:
I don’t have a review yet, but will after my son & daughter-in-law takes me there for my birthday this weekend. In the meantime, I just want to say my son’s a chef & said this is BY FAR the best Italian he’s ever had! He said this is AUTHENTIC Italian food, (yes, with ingredients imported from Italy) not the American version, with stock coming from a supply house. And that the portions are so large for the money they charge, he doesn’t understand how they can be making any profit. MOST people don’t cook from total scratch, so they don’t know how long it should really take to do that, so for those folks, it’s a long time to the table. If you don’t treasure quality any better than that, go somewhere else. As for Laura (11-15-10), who thought it was perfectly OK to take a BIRTHDAY PARTY (no less) to a restaurant that cooks from scratch ONE HOUR before closing, I’d say whoever answered the phone when you first called, clearly didn’t catch all of what you said. I’d bet you’re one of those groups that make a huge mess, change everything on the menu, let your kids run nuts & then camps out & leaves a lousy tip. Restaurant people know your kind. For David Legg (1-14-11), who said the sauce in “ineatable”. . . wow. You don’t even have a firm command of the basic English language, so how credible are your words? I’d bet you eat Chef Boyardee. In a nutshell, how much culture do any of you have that entitles you to accurately judge authentic Italian? Oh, & did I mention my son said the chef usually delivers the food to his table himself? How many restaurants can say that?
