Review content:
went on a trail ride recently. We were advised to arrive 30 minutes early, which we did. We were not greeted by anyone upon arrival, so we wandered around the farm for about 10 minutes. Finally a young girl walked over and said, go sign that form and pick a helmet. There were not many helmets to choose from and some were wet, most were dirty. We received no further instructions. Finally, I asked, what are we supposed to be doing. The young girl seemed confused and told us to go into the dirt area where some horses were standing. We barely got any instructions on how to ride the horses, even though we informed the owner and other farmhands that we were novices. The owner could have been more people friendly, the other staff members were nice. There were 2 guides on our trail ride, one in the front and one in the back. They seemed knowledgeable, although I did receive conflicting directions, don't let the horse trot, let the horse trot, speed up, slow down. The trail ride was relaxing, the horses were cool and it was a beautiful day. Although, the ride did end early. The ranch in general is totally disorganized. The owner mentioned a tip as we were leaving, which I thought was tacky. In my opinion, the groupon was designed to get people in the door for 1 time, collect the money, with no plans to sustain future business. Which is exactly what it did in the case of myself and my friends. So, if that was the goal, bravo Cornerstone Ranch, well played!\r
