Businiess name:  Davis Hairdressing

Review content:
Hidden among shops filled with imported treats and bakeries galore you'll find Davis Hairdressing, a salon loved by many of the Metro West ladies who lunch. Not exactly the place you would think you'd seem me walking out of with a wide curly mohawk and a lightening bolt shaved into the side. Don't let the neighborhood fool you, there are some rockin' talents just inside the door (ok, and up the stairs.) I found Davis Hairdressing online while searching for some place with funky stylist out in the Newton/Wellesley area. I poked around their site and really appreciated what I saw. Not only do I get the best haircuts of my life their but they go a lot of good for this world. They are very good about giving back whatever they can. I also liked that they seemed very dedicated to life long learning for their employees. Their customer service is fantastic as well. They offer you a robe, they offer tea or coffee, there are lots of look books to go through if you are unsure of what look to go for. Always magic fingers in the shampoo room. They also have the guidance of great hairdressers. I have seen both Jennifer and Lilly. Great women. I like to chat when I am getting my hair done and they are both very friendly and easy to talk with. The salon itself is very nice. It's clean and warm and stylish. They even have exposed brick! Love it. I have been going to see Lilly for a while now. Every time she cuts my hair the style changes just a little bit. Totally in a good way. My hairstyle has evolved with the help of Lilly's skill and creativity while always staying true to my aesthetic. I always feel confidant and refreshed when I walk out of Davis. Pros: found a little funk west of the allston/brighton tolls. Cons: not expensive but more than I would like to pay.
