Review content:
After several attempts to determine what the problem I have with my nose is, I was referred to Dr. Weingarten. I'd heard several comments that he give poor service, but had decided to give it a shot since I was referred by my Dr. After sitting in his office far past my appointment time, he spent all of 45 seconds telling me less than the Dr. that referred me did. This is a specialist, so I was hoping for more insight into my problem. He prescribed to me the same thing that my primary care Dr. did a month past and sent me on my way for scans of my nose with a follow up several weeks later. I was fairly underwhelmed at this point. I drove across town for my follow up and when I checked in, realized I didn't have my card and couldn't pay the copay at that instant. After asking if I could call in with my card or write a check instead, I was told, ""no I'm sorry, we won't see you without prepayment."" and was sent on my way. Seeing as I was unimpressed with my level of service at this point, I decided to find a different Dr. which I've found has covered far more with me that Dr. Weingarten did in the less than 60 seconds I purchased from him. Is it my fault that I forgot my wallet to prepay? Yes. That being said, I've found that most Doctors are willing to work with you on snafus such as that. A week later, I received a call saying I was a no show at my appointment, which was quite irritating. I suggest this office get's it's act together, or they will continue to run off their patients like they did with me. In closing, find a different specialist and save yourself from potential headaches.
