I have had tubes basically my whole life. I was told as a teenager that if I had any problems with my ears as I grew older that there was nothing that I could do. I had way too much scar tissue and tubes would be out of the question. \r So keeping this in mind I have for half of my life lived with constant headaches, ear pain, not being able to hear properly out of my right ear.\r I was recommended by my employer to see Dr. Weingarten, leery that I was I went. After telling me that I have serious allergies that went untreated my WHOLE life by one of the best ENT's in San Diego, I let my guard down and Im glad I did. \r I did the treatment he asked for me to do, to no avail it didnt help my ear problems. So the next option was surgery. I was scared and concerned since I was told my whole life that I couldnt have another surgery. Dr. Weingarten explained the pros and cons to me and I went ahead, what could be worse, I already couldnt hear out of the ear. \r I had the surgery and Im so excited. I can hear, the headaches are gone, i have no ear pressure and when I lay on that ear at night Im not woken up to horrific pain, I sleep all night with no pain. \r I like to thank Dr. Weingarten for giving me my ""ear"" back. We all have been raised with manners somewhere along the line and have been taught Dont judge a ""book"" by its cover.
