My experience with this photographer was extremely negative. She did not communicate to us who would be shooting our engagement photos and we were surprised with a photographer from her studio who we had never met before. We were then extremely disappointed with the pictures we ended up with. The photographer gave no creative direction whatsoever and did not really show any interest in creating some great pictures with us. For the wedding day, the studio owner/photography did not give clear communication as to what was going to happen, what was expected from us and what she planned to do before/after/during the ceremony. When the men showed up a little late, she was upset with us, then suddenly I was being rushed by her to get my dress on so she could begin photographing my girls and I. I still had things to do to get ready before I could put my dress on!! I ended up with bad pictures of the ceremony...horrible angles, disappointing shots of simple things that any wedding photographer should be able to pay attention to. The after ceremony pictures at the church were horrible and the wedding party shots off site were rushed and it seemed no attention was paid to what I wanted. When I finally received my proof book, there were two very important photos missing..one of my bridesmaid, one of my best friend!!! It took several calls and me leaving upset messages before I was able to get one of them recovered. the other one she lost!! VERY upsetting. She has not at any point in time taken any responsibility for her sloppy work and lack of professionalism in the matter. She has only ever returned one of five messages and calls I have left for her and then lied to me saying that she had tried to call. I called to attempt to resolve this matter with her and she seemed completely unconcerned with how upset I was with her work and has offered no compensation to me for this. Extremely amateur work was done. I got much better pictures from my family members and their snapshots!
Cons: very sloppy work, unprofessional and extremely poor communication
